Welcome to IGN's Yakuza: Like a Dragon walkthrough. Every job in the game has a unique weapon that can be upgraded to a final form. This section will teach you how to get the best weapons for every job in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

Firstly, every base weapon needs to be upgraded at Romance Workshop and many of the final weapon forms require a second weapon to fuse with it. While many of the base weapons can be acquired while playing the story or through the various minigames available to play, you can also acquire most of them by exploring the Yokohama Underground Dungeon.

Most of the secondary weapons required for fusing can be found as rewards in the Sotenbori Battle Arena, but you can also purchase most them from the Le Marche shop in Kamurocho for 10 million yen each.

You'll need a variety of different materials to upgrade every weapon, too. These materials can be found naturally throughout the game, while many others can be purchased at various shops throughout the city. You'll also need a lot of yen for later upgrades, so make sure you save up.
