Dune: Part Two Streaming Release Date
Dune: Part Two will eventually be released on Max, rather than Netflix or Disney+.
Dune doesn't yet have a streaming release date. Dune (2021) debuted simultaneously in theaters and on Max, which won't be the case for this year's sequel. The time between theatrical and Max releases for Warner Bros. movies differs based on the length and success of their box-office runs. As for a potential release date, we can look to Warner's 2023 release cadence. The majority of its movies came to Max 60-90 days after their theatrical releases, though one major outlier was Barbie, which took 147 days to hit Max. While Dune: Part Two is unlikely to replicate the success of Barbie, it's poised to outperform most (if not all) of Warner's other 2023 movies. As such, we expect it to come to Max three-four months after its theatrical debut, which would put it on streaming between June and July 2024.
