No Rest for the Wicked Early Access Review
good
No Rest for the Wicked is a compelling and unique action-RPG with a lot going for it, and lots of room still to grow.

Ori, Doom et., Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, POE, Diablo are my Favorite games. This is like the best mix of all of them and is so much better than I hoped for. It takes a second, but it is. It is early access right now so it is a bit buggy and unbalanced. Only act 1 and 2 are done right now (there are supposed to be several acts).
However, it is the first actually new game in forever it feels like. New feel, new movement, new type. POE was diablo perfected. Diablo 3 and 4 were just weird spinoffs of D2. Ori was an amazing platformer. Doom was the best FPS final form for that. THIS is a whole new thing. different type of game. Yes it is somewhat like diablo and a souls game, but it is also not like it at all. Give it a try with that in mind. Its buggy and half baked right now because it is a new kind of game. have fun!
Still EA, so if you're bothered by incomplete games don't buy it. If you enjoy watching something improve over time this one has really great potential that has been proven by their previous Ori titles. Both of which are among my favorite games
Isometric, dark souls, enshrouded. Utilize your dodge, sprint, and parry mechanics and watch the enemies attacks before you engage with them as it will go a long way. One of the best games I've ever played.
The game has a perfect potential but playing it in its current state is almost impossible, the balancing is really bad it may be the hardest game I've ever played, unnecessarily exhausting especially the battles are very difficult, urgent balancing is needed for enemies, in this state it's just a waste of time, the mechanic of our items breaking when their durability runs out is never logical, especially in a game where we die so much, as good as the art, drawing, visuals are, the balancing is equally bad, it makes the game not difficult but boring.
